I'M Robert Mehnert

Robert Mehnert graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in law and society. After graduation Robert Mehnert joined the police force in the Township of Teaneck, where he continues to serve as a sergeant of police.

In this role, Mr. Mehnert is responsible for the supervision of officers in the motor patrol division. Over the course of his 23-year career, he has received several honorable service awards for his actions in the line of duty, including for his work in convincing an armed barricaded suspect inside a home to surrender to law enforcement in 2008. That same year, he was awarded membership into the New Jersey State Honor Legion.

Outside of his professional life Mr. Mehnert likes to spend his time working with local little league teams, and he served as manager for the Wayne Little League All Stars in 2016, who went undefeated and captured the New Jersey District 2 Championship. In addition he enjoys golfing, and previously took third place at the annual Rocks the Links Charity Golf Tournament hosted by WDHA- FM radio station in New Jersey.
